“Where would you go, to protect your people?
Silver Pransiskus has lived her life in luxury and safety, as the heir to one of the nine duchies of Auvridal.
She’s been told how to view the world, and why, and taught how to act in any situation.
Which means that she should know what is required of her when she attempts to uncover what is actually happening in the backwaters of her country, where everything is in unrest.
But what she finds is nothing like what she looked for, and throws her into a world of hidden political aims, threats, wildlands, and underground communities that she was never prepared for.
Can a country be turned back from destruction, when those in power have done everything they can to force the unrest into submission?
Or will it end in war?
An ambitious duchess.
A captain with a mission.
A country ready to crumble.
Who will you follow, when the world goes dark?”
***These will be shipping out ASAP once they arrive, but are not guaranteed to be to you until the beginning of January due to Holiday shipping delays.
